In Dvorets Detskogo Sporta - DDS - there are two indoor courts with "Spartak" and "paraflex" cover. The price is 200 R an hour ($6,5). There are three open-air asphalt courts available at 80 R an hour ($2,50). Address: Rabohaya str., 63. Tel. 270-21-70, 270-44-91. As you go out of the metro Ploshad Iliyicha (yellow), you should walk along Mejdunarodnaya or Rabochaya Street for about 10 minutes, and you will see this big building with its enclosure and stadium (skating ring). There is a nice tennis club called Novyi on m. Botanicheskiy sad (orange), however it's far from the Moscow center. There are three indoor courts with synthetic cover (250-300 R an hour), six open lining (90 R an hour) and open asphalt (40 R an hour) courts. There is also a sauna and no gym room. On the other side of Moscow, in 'Olympic village' (Olimpiyskaya derevnya, m. Yugo-Zapadnaya (red)) there are courts covered with "volgotan", which are open Mon-Fri till 16.00, Sat-Sun after 16.00. At the CSKA club there is a tennis school for children. Open lining courts are for 150 R an hour, indoor courts with "sukrin" cover are for 250-350 R an hour. "VIP-courts" are always occupied; it's impossible to find time in the rental timetable. The teachers are excellent; you can feel you are a tennis-player in a few lessons! Tel. 13-65-47.
