Horseback Riding
 Bitza is the horseback-riding center in the forest-park "Bitzevsky" (south part of Moscow). The park is large, you can walk by foot or take a ride on the cart or ride there on horseback on one of the trails. There is a school where you can study riding. The price for using the trail, which takes 1 hour, - 500 R ($16-17), and for the one for 1.5 hour - 750 R ($25). Cart renting - 2000 R an hour ($66). The address: Balaklavsky prospect, 33 (m. Kaluzhskaya). From the metro station you should take bus ¹ 28 or 671. Open: Daily 9-21, weekends 9-18.
There is a riding center in Izmailovsky Park. You can get there from the Shosse Entusiastov metro, taking a tram ¹ 24, 34, 36 37 to the Ulitsa Plehanova bus stop. Tel. 176-13-58, 176-23-92. Address: Shosse Entusiastov, 31, build. 1.
Horse-sport club "Russia" is on Planernaya str., 14, building. 3 (m. Planernaya). Open daily 14-19 except for Sunday. The price is $15 an hour for adults and $10 for children. Tel. 494-01-11.
On Planernaya base there is a lot of space in which to ride, as it is outside Moscow (on the north-west). There is a field and a forest; it's nice to ride there. Professionals teach riding. The price is $10 for children and $20 for adults an hour. To get to Planernaya you should take bus ¹ 370 from m. Rechnoy vokzal to the Sportbasa station. Tel. 571-45-37.
